Wintry Woodford

End of November 2010 saw a lot of snow in some parts of the country but only a dusting from time to time was evident in Woodford - it was however bitterly cold until after Christmas when it became quite mild and stayed that way until spring

Snow fell on 18th December 2009 and lasted until 27th. The following photographs were taken in the run up to Christmas 2009

Woodford experienced about 2 inches of snow on the evening of 2nd February 2009, in the early hours of 5th February a further 6 inches fell and on 6th February a further 2-3 inches fell
