Minutes of last meeting: |
The minutes of the
Parish Council meeting having been circulated, were proposed by Mr
Clifton, seconded by Mrs Colson, and agreed as a true record by those
present. It was unanimously agreed that the Chairman sign them as such. |

Youth Forum Update: |
1:
Mr M Vaughan had nothing to report. |

Police Report: |
2:
PCSO Cross drew attention to a large in crease in crime categorised as
“other”. This category had risen by six in the month of August and the
causes were varied but included vandalism, and theft from sheds/
garages.
3:
The Clerk reported that he had been advised of youth camping on the Ring
on Saturday evenings and running around local gardens.

Cllr Langley’s Comments: |

Cllr Langley reported that new Chief Executive was now in post at the
County Council. The reorganisation of the Council was continuing to
progress.
6:
The Road maintenance contract (previously delayed due to the threatened
reorganisation) was currently being tendered with a fifteen year
contract being awarded next spring.
7:
The umbrella outside the Prince of Wales was presently being
investigated.
8:
Cllr Langley said he was seeking confirmation that Mill Road would be
repaired once the work at the Paddocks was completed.

Remembrance Sunday Wreath |

It was unanimously agreed that the Clerk obtain a wreath for the
Parish Council to lay at the War Memorial on 11th November.
