The minutes of the Parish
Council meeting having been circulated, were proposed by Mr M Vaughan,
seconded by Mr I Vaughan, and agreed as a true record by those present. It
was unanimously agreed that the Chairman sign them as such. |

Youth Forum Update: |

M Vaughan reported that Youth Council had met and discussed some
fundraising ideas. A further meeting was to be held in early November.

Mrs Hayman proposed, Mr Woods seconded, and it was unanimously
agreed that the above accounts be settled.
23:
Note: The litter picker’s wage was proposed by Mr Colson, seconded
by Mr Vaughan and agreed to increase in line with the National Minimum
Wage to £5.35 per hour with effect of 1 October.

Remembrance Sunday arrangements |
24:
Discussion took place as to the value of a donation to the Royal
British Legion. Mr Clifton proposed, Mr Colson seconded and it was agreed
to make a donation of £75.00. It was also proposed that the clerk contact
the Police in order to obtain cones in order to close the main through
route near the memorial.

Children’s Playground |
25:
Clerk reported that the fence around the children’s playground had
been damaged beyond reasonable repair. It was proposed that in order to
make it safe the fence be removed, and if required be replaced at a later
time. Mr Mearns suggested All Seasons would offer a competitive quote.
Clerk to organise.
26:
The Clerk reported that a number of the safety mats had also been
lifted. Councillors asked that Wicksteed Leisure contacted to carry out
repairs as soon as possible.
